The Vitae project ,winner of the international Reinventing Cities competition launched by the Municipality of Milan in collaboration with C40 in 2017, involves the construction of a new office building and a research centre in the field of molecular and oncological research. The site is located in via Serio, just a few hundred meters from the headquarters of the Fondazione Prada.

Once completed, the project will add a new public space to one of the liveliest areas of the city: Indeed, an open space is planned as a public square for the use of the city, from which the "green spiral" starts, a grass promenade covered by a vine pergola (from which the project takes its name), extending for over 150 meters and externally connecting the various floors, from the terrace to the underlying square, rich in vegetable gardens and vineyards and spaces suitable for outdoor sports activities.
