The Sign is built in the south-east area of Milan, close to the renowned international university IULM. The design of the green spaces, which completes the project of the buildings, arises from the analysis of the urban context in which the project area is included and follows the following objectives: improvement of the quality and identity of the outdoor spaces; increase of connections, functional and visual relationships between the existing and the future green areas.

A significant part of the project includes a large usable green area, greatly enhancing the link with the neighborhood and the community. Specifically, the design of the green areas is distributed over three main intervention areas: the square of events (the “Smart square”); the Park called "Podio", a protected area included in the most private part of the masterplan; the secret gardens, the green terraces on the rooftop.
