The project site is part of a urban context characterized on one side by Molentargius Park, the Saline, and the Terramaini canal, on the other by the built structures of various educational institutions and sports facilities which represent a significant social value for the community. 

“Energy Park” is the title given to our design proposal, that will be a significant addition providing innovative recreational uses and a self-sufficient site in terms of energy that can serve as a model for future landscape interventions throughout the region. The project's primary goal is the redevelopment of the area through the definition of a masterplan capable of integrating the park and the city, nature and sports vocation, saline and water basin system and finally the ability to produce energy.
