The area of intervention represents the axis of connection between an area of high traffic intensity, represented by Via IV Novembre-via Diaz, and the more residential neighborhoods of the historic center, insists in a consolidated area of the urban center of Enna characterized by the absence of organicity between the different areas from which it consists and the lack of clear and distinct functions.

The aim of the proposed project is, therefore, to define a new public identity of the place in order to revitalize civic activities, improve the habitability of places, increase the well-being of individuals and foster social processes by creating a relationship between open space, architecture and infrastructure that can constitute the place where the new image of the city is manifested in which its citizens can recognize themselves. This can be done through the redesign of new permeable, accessible and usable public spaces that can help accelerate the revitalization of Enna as a point of reference for citizens and tourists and that foster the development of a new identity through the enhancement of the landscape context and existing heritage.
